Subject

^Breathe is a mode of ^Refresh and a mode of ^Schedule that is a ~foundation~ to our ~daily~ ~process~ to ^Recover our ~body~ and ~mind~.  It is a ~mechanism~ to ^Refresh our ~body~ for ^Normal ~restore~ within ourselves and to ^Refresh our ~mind~ for ^Normal ~life~ to others and our world.

This is ^Such an essential and ^Total ~function~ of our ~mind~ but in ~season~ its ~mastery~ may ^Escape us.  A tiny recess of our ~mind~ may ^Keep us ~awake~ without our ~ability~ to ^Notice so ^Try to ^Feel it ^Alone and in ~focus~ to ^Find any ~obstacle~ to it.

In ~care~, we may ^Create ~steps~ to ^Change ~context~ in ~repeat~ so that we may ^Cause it.  For ~example~, a ^Slow ~topic~ may ^Cause us to ^Choose to ^Avoid yet neither ^Go nor ^Leave.  Then we may ^Come to a tangent ~topic~ of ~excitement~ which may ^Cause us to ^Trust ~focus~.  After that another tangent ~topic~ to ^Think in ~focus~ may ^Cause us to ^Care to ^Replace it.  At this ~point~ our ~mind~ has pruned its ^Own ~tree~ of ~thought~ (almost every ~branch~), so we ^Need just ^One thing ^Now, which is to ^Divide ^What may ^Remain.  ^As a ^Last ~step~, we may ^Try to ^Hold a ^Blurry near-tangent, (almost-)~topic~, non-interactive ~idea~ or thing.

Another ^Example ~mechanism~ is that of the ultimate ^Attempt to ^Refuse which young children may instinctively ^Engage at nap time but which we may ^Learn to ^Engage with ~purpose~.  We ^Start ~exhausted~ after we ^Engage in ~full~ in an ~activity~.  Then at ~presence~ of a ~choice~, we ^Refuse ~choice~.  Then at ~presence~ of our refusal, we ^Refuse to ^Refuse.  ^Repeat until we are (~motion~-)~less~, we ^Relax our ~body~ and we ^Feel helpless to resist.  We may ^Prefer that a ~buddy~ ^Take up our ~daily-self-care~ ^Who may ^Offer ^Sufficient ~opposition~ ^Who may ^Anticipate calmly that ~sleep~ should ^Come.

Target

^Consider it anytime in ~regard~ to our ~daily~ ~habit~.  ^Rest is ^Important to ^Maintain our ~body~ and ~mind~.  ^Remember the ~power~ to ^Breathe and ^Rest ^Regularly.

Anytime with ~caution~ about the nature of the ~need~.

^When in ~tune~ to ~emotion~.

^As a ~buddy~, ^When we ^Notice a ~lack~ or ~excess~ of ~surprise~, we may ^Offer others a ^Normal ~space~ to ^Rest ^When they ^Give and we ^Receive their ^Normal ~trust~ to that ~end~.

To ^Oppose ~food~, ~water~ or ~life~.  To ^Oppose ~refresh~ and ~emotion~ within our ~restore~.

Anytime in ^Simple ~respect~ to ^Rest although in ~presence~ of ~fear~, ~desire~, ~sorrow~ or ~shame~.  For ~example~, ^Rest doesn't ^Disguise our ~desire~.  Yet, ^Rest may ^Help ourselves or others to ^Endure ~desire~ until we can ^Heal from it.

Do so only ^When in ~tune~ to ~surprise~, ~anger~, ~disgust~ or ~happiness~.  For ~example~, we don't ^Want to ^Embrace ^When we ^Feel ~anger~ toward ~one-another~ or our ~environment~.  Yet once we ^Restore ~harmony~, we may ^Sleep ^Freely ~as~ a ~mechanism~ to ^Alleviate the ~emotion~.  We ^Disguise or ^Unmask next ~steps~ ^When we ^Sleep without ~caution~ or we ^Dream ^Irrespective of any ~fact~ of ^What we ^Feel.  That is ^Okay!  We can ^Grow to ^Become ~better~ at it.
